1. Data collected

We collect: account info (name, email, phone), student profiles (first name, grade), teacher data (ID, diplomas, availability), transactions, messages (analyzed for safety), and usage data.

2. Data usage

Your data is used to provide services, verify teachers, process payments, send notifications, improve the platform, and protect student safety.

3. Children's data protection

Student data has enhanced protection. Only parents manage profiles. Teachers only see first name and grade. Contact info is never shared. No images in DMs.

4. Storage

Your data is hosted on secure servers. It is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest, and backed up daily. Payments are handled by licensed payment providers.

5. Third parties

To run the service we rely on specialised providers, in particular for: hosting and the database; sending emails and SMS messages; payment processing; video conferencing and session recording; third-party transcription and educational-assistance providers (session transcription, summaries and the personal revision assistant); and audience and advertising measurement. Each provider receives only the data it needs for its task. We never sell your data. Your child's session recordings and summaries are used to provide them with a personal revision assistant. You can request their deletion at any time.

6. Cookies and trackers

écoleVersity uses essential cookies (authentication, language preferences, session) as well as audience-measurement and advertising tools, which help us understand how the site is used and evaluate our campaigns. They are not active in kid mode. For any question about this: info@ecoleversity.com.

8. Security

Measures: HTTPS/TLS, secure authentication, access control enforced on every database table, cryptographic (HMAC) verification of webhooks, detection of contact-details sharing, and AI-assisted moderation.
